Double-sided Inuit Soapstone Carving with Figures and EagleI may especially love this Inuit piece because the expressions and postures of the two figures remind me EXACTLY of photographs of my older brother and I playing in the snow when we are kids! But I think I'd find it wonderful regardless, for the details on their parkas and pants in addition to those great faces, and also for the way their are cropped and lean a little right, as if trying to match the angle of the stone.
